Tom Jensen was born 1948 in Seattle and is a life long resident. After twenty-three years in technical illustration, he was inducted into PSGNWP. . He has won awards in many regional exhibits for his drawings, etchings and sculptures and has been a guest artist and juror for numerous Northwest art organizations and institutions including the Western Washington Fair, Olympic College, the North Kitsap Arts Center, and the Milwaukee, Oregon Arts Center.
Johnsen is a member, Board of Directors, Santa Cruz Cultural Council, Peninsula Art League and Puget Sound Group. On a journey to Alaska, he was inspired by the work of the Tlingit Indian totem carvers and truly became interested in art. He later moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at the Otis Art Institute to study painting and graphics. He devoted himself full time to mastering both two and three dimensional art, including five years of study with master painter and printmaker, Joseph Mugnaini. He has since exhibited in many prestigious shows and galleries on the Pacific coast and has been the recipient of numerous awards. His works can be found in many civic, corporate and private collections He has also lectured in Sweden.
Harry Johnson has been a full-time artist since the sixties. His work has been shown at the Arts for the Parks, the National Wilderness Show; the Audubon Alaska Wildlife Art Show and the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show Series, “American the Beautiful ” sponsored by the National Parks and Conservation Association.
Robert Jones was mentored by one of the PSGNWP founding members and well-known painter, Ernest Norling. In 1946, Robert studied at the Burnley School of Art and at the Frye Art Museum where he was awarded, the Frye ’s first traveling scholarship. A “Life ” member of PSGNWP since1953, Robert ’s prize-winning work has appeared in numerous regional juried exhibits, including exhibits at the Seattle Art Museum and the Frye Art Museum.
Has been carving wooden birds for 12 years. Many of his birds are in corporate collections as well as private homes. Vern has won national wards at the World Championships. He has won several Best of Show awards locally.
Born in 1951 in Bellingham, David earned a BFA in Painting at the University of Washington. David has had solo and two man shows at the Linda Cannon Gallery, the Fisher Gallery, the Cornish College of the Arts, the Viking Union Gallery and Western Washington University. He teaches painting and drawing at the School of Visual Concepts and the Cornish School of the Arts in Seattle. David has received awards from the King County Arts Commission, and a Fellowship at the Pollock-Krasner Foundation in New York.
Niles
E. Kelley

Robert Niles Kelley grew up in a Seattle art family. His father Niles is a life member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters. His mother Joyce graduated from the University of Washington and the Cornish School of Art going on to teach art at Epiphany school in Seattle. From a young age Robert was exposed to art. He tells of block print making when he was a child at Fey Chong's studio in Seattle. He attended workshops at Cornish, the Fry, the U of W, and at private studios. Robert's interest in art continued at the U of W where he studied both art and science. During post graduate studies, he spent a year in an anatomy lab drawing and developing insight into the human form.
Kerr earned a BA degree from Hofstra University, attended the Art Students League, Frank Reilly School of Art, and the School of Visual Art in Provincetown, NYC, where he spent several summers portrait sketching. He taught advertising art at Pel’s school of Art and Advertising Design at State University of New York in Utica. He has devoted extensive technical study in photogrammetry, fiber optics, and computer networking. He is a technical artist and engineering graphics specialist at U.S. Naval Civil Engineering Lab at Port Hueneme, California. He has studied with Rex Brandt and Robert E. Wood.

Before
starting a new career as the Cultural Programs Coordinator for the City of
Enumclaw, Gary LaTurner taught art in public schools in Washington State for 33
years. Painting
has been part of Gary’s life since early childhood. He grew up in Spokane,
where he won a Spokane Daily Chronicle drawing prize at the age of five.
He graduated from Eastern Washington University with an MA in education
and a major in art.
