I am a Kirkland based artist but grew up in the New York City area. After completing a full time atelier program at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle, I incorporate the various facets of my past careers into my drawings and paintings. I worked for the US federal government after earning my Master's in Public Policy and am influenced by social commentary in my choice of subjects and composition. After teaching science for several years, I also establish a link to science and nature in many of my works. I feel very passionately that we need to engage with our nation's domestic and international policies to forward the causes of human rights and protecting the environment. My voice in this discussion is my art.
