The Foundations of Drawing & Painting

New PSG Signature Member Robert Kamin is teaching a course on drawing and painting this fall at the Alderbrook Resort.

Developed for the beginning artist, Foundation Drawing & Painting classes are intended to serve as a thorough introduction to technical and aesthetic issues in drawing and painting, covering all aspects of representation in black and white media. At the end of the 6 session program, students will have developed an understanding of how to render light and shade, line, mass and volume. Much of this  work will be aimed at copying drawings from the Charles Bargue Drawing Course and mastercopies in grisaille. Students will receive individual feedback from the instructing artist to further their technical development in drawing or painting.

Cost for each six-session course: $120.00
