Call for Entries: Columbia Winery Celebrates Northwest Artists

Sadie Sullivan

The Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) has teamed up with their sponsor, Columbia Winery, to offer an exciting new opportunity for artists from the Pacific Northwest. Columbia Winery Celebrates Northwest Artists is a collaboration created to bring awareness to contemporary artists in the PNW, support our regional community, and offer a unique, engaging program to shoppers and retailers. This Call for Entries seeks Washington and Oregon artists over 21 years of age who are interested in being a part of a special promotional campaign launching October 2015.

Three participating artists will be chosen by a team of jurors, consisting of members from Columbia Winery, CoCA and media partners Sinclair Broadcasting Seattle and Alpha Media who will select work based on the artists’ interpretation of the theme: Food, Wine, & Celebration. Each selected artist will receive cash and prizes worth $1,100:

All original artwork must be two-dimensional, and preferably oil, watercolor, pastel, or acrylic paintings; no photography or 3D work will be accepted. For display purposes we ask that work be larger that 16 inches in the shortest dimension and no larger than 40 inches in the biggest dimension. Square formats are preferred. There is no fee for submission; however, artists must be a member of CoCA. All artists are encouraged to join and participate.

PSG members qualify for a discount! Contact alleson@psgart.org to receive the special offer.

Submission Deadline: July 10 midnight, PST
