Since 1928, we have supported our Student Scholarship Fund through fundraising events and the Rudolph Bundas Memorial Fund. Established when Life Member and Fellow Rudolph "Rudy" Bundas bequeathed a portion of his estate to PSG in 2003, this memorial endowment helps maintain our tradition awarding scholarships to exceptional art students in the Pacific Northwest.

2017 Scholarship Guidelines

For over eighty years, we have offered financial assistance to artists through our scholarship and award program. Up to $10,000 will be disbursed among multiple eligible Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, BC) art students in 2017.

Application Deadline: Midnight PST on December 31, 2016

Following are the 2017 Scholarship Guidelines: 

  • Students must be enrolled in an art program in the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, BC)

  • Scholarships are open to students working in any medium

  • Money will go directly to the student

  • The recipient student may use the money for tuition, supplies, books or any other purposes which help them stay in school or further their artistic abilities

  • The criteria for awarding scholarship money to students is left to the discretion of the PSG Board and Scholarship Committee

  • $35 Application Fee includes a Student Membership, valid January - December 2017

The PSG Board of Directors is confident that scholarship students will use this money to its best possible advantage and in accordance with the wishes of this organization.

Application Instructions

Please read the instructions carefully, then fill out all fields in the form below.

The Scholarship Application is a four step process. In order for your application to be processed in a timely manner, please make sure that you have thoroughly completed each step:

  1. Fill out and submit the Artist Information online form
  2. Email 10 JPEG images, media files or links of your work, and Artist CV to
  3. Email at least one letter of recommendation to
  4. Submit payment via PayPal button

Please make sure all image files are 72 dpi and no larger than 600px in width. If you need help re-sizing your images, use to reduce your image sizes.


3. Letter of Recommendation

4. Payment

Scholarship Application Fee: $35 (plus $1.50 processing fee if paid through PayPal)

All applicants will receive a PSG Student Membership ($35 value), valid January - December 2017.
