I studied painting for a couple of years with Elroy Christianson after retiring from a law practice. My oil paintings have been exhibited at NSCC, City of Enumclaw's "Base Camp" show, the Edmunds annual juried show, and Puget Sound Group’s Gallery.
My motivations in painting are not untraditional. People, objects or scenes have suggested, to me, an attitude, emotion or moment within a story. While I try to avoid obvious symbolism, I take the liberty of arranging and sometimes distorting them to emphasize that.
