Harold has been painting full time since the late sixties. His favorite subjects are maritime, nature, wildlife, and classic automobiles.
Harold was commissioned to do the America the Beautiful series produced by the Bradford Exchange and sponsored by the National Parks and Conservation Association.
"This assignment was like a dream come true. Before I received this commission I asked myself 'what would be the perfect commission' and I thought to myself, I would love to do the National Parks. I love the outdoors-I paint a tree in almost every thing I do. It wasn't long after that, that I received a phone call asking me to do the series, and of course I said 'yes'."
Shows include Arts for the Parks-National Parks, shown in the Great Hall of the Smithsonian, Audubon Show, National Wilderness Show, Pacific Rim Wildlife Show and many National Shows. Harold has won many awards and is in many collections. His originals have sold for as much as twenty seven thousand dollars.
