Rick, now a Life Member, has been with the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists since 1982. He has served as President, Secretary, various Board of Director positions, and on the Scholarship Committee.
He received his formal education at the University of Washington and the Burnley School of Art. He taught at the Burnley School of Art and later at the Art Institute of Seattle.
Landscapes and wildlife are the main focus of his art and life. As an ardent fly fisher who ties flies and builds rods every trip afield offers inspiration for new work. His works are created using acrylics, oils, watercolors, pen and ink, and graphite.
Rick’s work is in private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the Philippines.
