I was born and raised in the heart of Seattle and moved to Sammamish in 2006 to be closer to my family. After graduating high school I moved to Bellingham to attend Western Washington University. Two years ago I was accepted into the Western Art Program. I plan on graduating in the future with a major in Studio Art and a minor in English and Art History. Last fall I had the pleasure to attend Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy where I took art classes taught by Italian artists.
Throughout the past years in the art program I have learned so much about what it takes to be an artist. I found that I have developed a stronger drive for what I do in the art community. My focus in art is medical illustration, textile design, fibers & fabrics, and photography. In the future I plan to attend a graduate program to earn my MFA.
For the past two years I have been working as the PSGNA’s Intern, which has allowed me to meet inspiring artists and work with an amazing art community. Through my experiences I hope to become an inspiring artist who has had the chance to journey the world and live adventurously.
